Out again this afternoon and we continued to tease Junior that all was left for him to produce was a Secretary Bird. A few random pictures from the drive.

Zebra for once not turning away.
Superb Starlings (that's their actual name!)

Hello!
We bumped into Jessica and her group self-driving through the National Park and as is usually the case swopped details of recent sightings and they’d seen a Secretary Bird – poor Junior was crestfallen and spent ages driving up and down trying to spot it, without success. I told him later that I’d paid Jessica to say it just to wind him up (payback for the camera joke at the Masai Village)
We ended our last drive with a sundowner high up on a hillside with a lovely view all around.
After another huge and delicious dinner we wandered over to the bar area where the managers Graeme and Candy were sitting on their own. One of the jobs at most camps is to prop up the bar and ensure copious amounts of alcohol is consumed by the guests and as they were on their own and it was our last night we thought it polite to have a chat. We got chatting about where we’d been before and it turns out they are very good friends with Liz and Garth, the superb managers we met at Kaingo, South Luangwa Valley, Zambia. Yet again, sometimes it’s a very small world.
We've thoroughly enjoyed our short visit to Tortilis/Amboseli and rather wish we were staying a few more days.
