Our BA flight was very good, nice food, plenty of wine and despite taking off 1/2 hour late we still arrived more or less on time. In the last 5 years I don't think we've ever taken off on time but generally we arrive on time!
We got through immigration fairly quickly but had a long wait for our one, very small, suitcase. Jackson was waiting for us and we drove about 30 mins to the hotel, which is in suburbs so we never saw anything of the city centre. It is however on the way to Wilson Airport for our flight to Amboseli tomorrow.
I'd looked this place up online and queried with Safari Consultants their choice as our ETA was about 23:00 and our flight is at 08:15 tomorrow but was assured it was the ONLY place in Nairobi they would consider putting their clients.
And even worse Jackson has given us an amended flight time tomorrow so we actually leave at 06:30. So presumably to make up for missing breakfast (from 07:00) we've been upgraded.
